A very useful gadget to help with following the goose egg cooling procedure with great precision during incubation. It is very important to maintain periodic cooling starting from week 2 during goose egg incubation which greatly improves hatching results. The general idea is to cool the egg shell down to around 30°C daily and then sprinkle with warm (37.7 °C) water before putting the eggs back into the setter. The most reliable way to controlling egg shell temperature is using a non-contact infrared thermometer.

The thermometre can be operated in three different modes: surface temperature, body temperature or room temperature. Reliable and precise!
